The Pastor of Southside Baptist Church has been charged with domestic
violence of a high and aggravated nature and told not to leave the
state. 35 year-old Pastor Rashan L. Wilson is accused of 'choking out'
the pregnant mother of his two biological children, during an alleged
custody exchange, that turned violent.
Authorities say Monday,
Jan 14th around 11:54 p.m., they were called on the scene of a physical
domestic incident that occurred at 87 Beaufain Street.
According
to court documents, when authorities arrived on the scene, the victim
told North Charleston police, she drove from her home in North
Charleston to meet Pastor Wilson to drop off their two children. The
victim stated they had an agreement that he would take the kids at that
time of the night, but when she arrived, Wilson refused to take the
children and told her to leave.

Welcome to H&C,,, where I aggregate news of interest. Primary topics include abuse with "the church", LGBTQI+ issues, cults - including anti-vaxxers, and the Dominionist and Theocratic movements. Also of concern is the anti-science movement with interest in those that promote garbage like homeopathy, chiropractic and the like. I am an atheist and anti-theist who believes religious mythos must be die and a strong supporter of SOCAS.

UPDATED::Pastor charged with failure to report child abuse – Baptist News Global
UPDATE:: Prosecutors dismiss case against pastor accused of failure to report abuseA Baptist pastor in Alabama faces misdemeanor charges for allegedly failing to report suspicion of child sex abuse to legal authorities.
Sunday was Michael Walker's last service as the pastor of Huntsville's Southside Baptist Church.
He resigned after nearly a year of being charged with failure to report child sex abuse committed by a Madison County sheriff's investigator.
State prosecutors dropped a criminal charge against Walker, but he says he already tendered his resignation weeks ago.
Walker said his reputation has been ruined, the arrest has taken a toll on his marriage and he probably won't ever work in ministry again.
"I wasn't guilty," Walker told AL.com. "The things that were said about me are just so far from the truth."
The arrest stems from an investigation into two felony counts of first-degree sexual abuse against a former Madison County sheriff’s investigator arrested Aug. 18 for allegedly fondling a 12-year-old girl earlier in the year.
