Also of interest, Humble likes to state that the industrial use of CD is raved about because of its so-called "selectivity" (it only kills the bad stuff). So I took a look at a few of his citations and what I found, "selective ignorance." If one where to take a look at his notes and compare his statements to the actual source material, you would find that 2 + 2 = 5. In other words, Humble leaves out the important stuff, "the whole biomed movement is based on mangling language and taking research findings to bizarre and absurd conclusions in a battle to rid their child of autism. It doesn’t even matter whether those findings are substantiated or just ones made up by the likes of Andrew Wakefield."
Here is one such example from a 2010 email interview which I chose as it hits both Humble's and Rivera's main talking points of "how" CD "works" (it doesn't). I have also interjected some of the hogwash from Rivera‘s CD Autism site as well.
[Although Jim Humble is he main purveyor of MMS, it is Kerry Rivera who pushes its use for “recovering autism.” There is a very fine dividing line between the two, Humble is the “pope” (Archbishop) while Rivera is a bishop in Humble’s Genesis II church. Since Rivera’s protocol is based on Humble’s shitty work, I find her the more dangerous of the two. There are others, but for this discussion I am focusing just on Humble and Rivera.]
Humble: WE'LL THE FACT IS THAT CELL WALLS IN THE THROAT AND STOMACH ARE NOT THE SAME AS CELL WALLS IN PATHOGENS.
Excuse me,,, Jim,,, mammals don't have "cell walls" - ya know, basic biology, "Animal cells are typical of the eukaryotic cell, enclosed by a plasma membrane and containing a membrane-bound nucleus and organelles. Unlike the eukaryotic cells of plants and fungi, animal cells do not have a cell wall,,,."
Since Humble used the term "pathogen" it is helpful to know exactly what it is. The term is used to describe an infectious agent that causes disease in its host, such as:
- a virus - does not have a cell wall
- bacterium - does have a cell wall
- prion - (responsible for mad cow disease and Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease) - does not have a cell wall and not considered living organisms because they are misfolded protein molecules. (In fact MMS would be a pointless treatment as they "are resistant to denaturation by chemical and physical agents.")
- fungus - member of a large group of eukaryotic organisms that includes microorganisms such as yeasts and molds,,, as well as the more familiar mushrooms; fungal cells have cell walls that contain chitin,,,
- or parasite - a complex set of little beasties with differing classifications based on their interactions with their hosts and on their life cycles. Too many variables to highlight individually, but it is important to note, "Should the organism pass the mouth, the stomach is the next line of defense. The stomach contains hydrochloric acid and gastric acids, which makes its pH level around 2. In this environment, the acidity of the stomach helps kill most microorganisms that try to invade the body through the gastric intestinal tract." (This would make using MMS as prescribed by Humble redundant.)
If the CLO2 is strong enough to kill or rid the body of these pathogens (as claimed by Humble/Rivera) imagine what it does to the cells in our bodies. I will repeat what I stated in Part 1, human tissue is made up of the same organic molecules of parasites, viruses, and bacteria; our tissue and cells will meet the same fate as those we wish to eliminate. That makes the following all the more dangerous!
PUNCHING A HOLE IN A CELL WALL IN THE BODY IS MUCH DIFFERENT HAVING TO DO WITH THE OXIDATION POTENTIAL OF SUCH CELL WALLS. IN CASE YOU WANT TO LOOK IT UP ON THE INTERNET, CHLORINE DIOXIDE HAS AN OXIDATION POTENTIAL OF .95 VOLTS, MUCH LESS THAT WHAT IS REQURED TO OXIDIZE BODY CELLS.
So I had to do some serious digging (and a lot of mental gymnastics) to try and figure out exactly what Humble was driving at with this point. I believe, that the answer actually lays with Rivera. The main premise (CD works because of "selectivity") and why (it only kills the bad stuff), to quote Matt Carey (in response to a comment I made over at LBRB) "the argument Kerri Rivera makes just comes across as “sciencey” terminology that is in the end gibberish or just flat out wrong."
It boils down to this,,, The belief that autism is "made up of" or caused by ("caused" being the key word): virus, bacteria, parasites, yeast, heavy metals, inflammation, food allergies.
Rivera specifically, ignores that autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder that has to do with how the brain develops during early life. It has nothing to do with worms, toxins, or pathogens. It is a developmental delay not necessarily developmental stasis.
Without proper scientific evidence (of which there can be none due to the nature of MMS - think of the vaxx v. un-vaxx studies so clamored for by the GoV brigade led by Jenny McCarthy) to back up any of the claims made by Rivera - A total of 174 children have so far been recovered,,, - there is no way to determine whether the so-called improvements are a result of her protocol or normal developmental progression. Without science to back such claims, all that is left is anecdotes. We all know anecdotes are not data.
In other words, the entire protocol is based on a flawed belief making any discussion of this "oxidation potential of .95 volts" a moot point; there are no "pathogens" (at least not the kind Rivera speaks of). If anything the only outcome would be the destruction of normal gut-flora and the tissue of the GI tract. This alone should tell you that what Rivera presents is garbage and I could stop there and be satisfied but I really want to understand where this delusion belief is coming from. (I will give you a bit of foreshadowing Pathogens = Body Thetans.)
