UPDATE:: Former Colorado youth pastor sentenced to 4 years in prison for attempted sexual assault of child
The former Crossroads Community Church youth pastor who pleaded guilty in Douglas County to attempted sexual assault and sexual exploitation of a child charges was sentenced Friday to four years in prison.
Joshua Clemons, 35, will also have to serve 10 years of intensive supervised probation after he completes his prison sentence for the Douglas County case. He also faces an upcoming sentencing hearing in a similar case in Denver.

The former Crossroads Community Church youth pastor arrested earlier this year over allegations he’d been having sex with one of the members of the youth group agreed Monday to plead guilty to two felony counts in the case.
Joshua Clemons, 35, pleaded guilty to one count of sexual exploitation of a child – video/20+ items and one count of attempted sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust – victim age 15-18. The former is a class 4 felony and the latter is a class 5 felony.He saw six other counts dismissed in exchange for his guilty plea, according to a spokesperson for the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
Joshua Clemons, 35, was arrested Tuesday by the Denver Police Department amid an ongoing investigation into allegations he sexually assaulted at least one member of the youth program he led.
Parker police say 18th Judicial District prosecutors have already filed three charges of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust against him.
