Starting in September 2013, the 35-year-old victim started seeing "Psychic Lisa," a.k.a. 39-year-old Victoria Nicholes. The victim was experiencing marital difficulties at the time, and Nicholes allegedly convinced her that if she didn't get rid of the "demon," the victim's husband would leave her for a younger woman whom the victim suspected he was having an affair with. If the "demon" wasn't removed, the victim would never be able to sustain another romantic relationship for the rest of her life.

According to private investigator Bob Nygaard, who has had plenty of experience with similar fraud cases, Nicholes told the victim she was doing "God's work" and needed to perform rituals in furtherance of the alleged "demon removal work" at an "altar" at a mysterious church which the victim never saw and wasn't allowed to visit.

First Nicholes allegedly said she'd need $33K in cash ($1K for each year of her age) for special candles and crystals to be used in the cleansing ceremony. Then she allegedly asked for a Rolex Daytona Everose watch with a black dial (valued at $30K) because (here we go) it would be used as part of a ritual that would "spring back time" to before the victim was born, thereby allowing her to remove the demon.

If the victim told anyone about the "demon removal work," the work would fail.

What is plain wrong, or maybe mind-boggling, Charisma News has this story tagged under "Satanic" with the headline "Police: Alleged Killer Says the Devil Made Him Do It".  Once again showing their ignorance of Satanism as a whole (ie. theistic vs atheistic) and denial of mental illness as well

Although the reference is a vague "he" and clarification is from one source (as noted in the article) it is likely the perp may have other issues - hearing voices. "Following Tuesday's hearing, West's defense attorney Robert Sletvold said he was still investigating if his client has a mental health diagnosis."

The alleged gunman in a shooting spree that left three people dead in the Lehigh Valley told investigators a voice told him not to be so "picky" with his victims, a detective testified Tuesday.

"The voice was telling (Todd West), 'Just eat, eat, stop being so picky,'" Allentown police Detective John Brixius III testified.

When West was asked if police had the getaway car used in his crime wave, West told them he knew police had the car, "because he told him, referring to the devil," Brixius said.

The detective's account is one of an estimated 15 witnesses who are expected at a preliminary hearing, which started Tuesday afternoon and is continuing into the evening.

A BBC investigation into faith-based crime, broadcast yesterday on Radio 5, claimed that a special Metropolitan Police team – Operation Violet – has seen a significant increase in reports of crimes related to witchcraft in London.

But other areas don’t have such specialist expertise and half of police forces in the UK are failing to record cases. Campaigners say children remain at risk in the absence of a coordinated national response to the problem.

The BBC reported here that the Metropolitan Police said there had been 60 crimes linked to faith in London so far this year. It saw reports double from 23 in 2013 to 46 in 2014.

The NSPCC said authorities:

Need to ensure they are able to spot the signs of this particular brand of abuse.

Terry Sharpe, from the Project Violet team, said cases remained small in number, but there had been a significant increase, covering a spectrum of seriousness.

In a deep rasping voice she screams "666" followed by "let me go, let me go".

According to witnesses, the young woman from Lima, Peru, had been playing with her friends on a mobile phone version of the board game that evokes the spirits.

But when she returned home her parents noticed that she seemed to be unwell.

They said she began fitting and foaming at the mouth and her voice deepened into a raspy tone.

The pastor of popular megachurch in South Carolina told his congregation on Wednesday that homosexuality was caused by demons and ended his sermon by calling gay people to the stage so Jesus could “straighten things out.”

During his monthly “Unite” sermon, Redemption church pastor Ron Carpenter, Jr. addressed the issue of homosexuality for the first time since the U.S. Supreme Court declared that same-sex couples had a constitutional right to marriage.

“It is aligning yourself with the same sin as the father of rebellion, it is an abomination,” Carpenter explained, adding gay people lived shorter lives as a “due penalty” for their sexual orientation.

According to the pastor, adultery and even murder were natural sins of the flesh. But homosexuality was caused by demons in the “spiritual realm.”

What I find extremely dangerous,

“I think with homosexuality, something got planted that wasn’t supposed to be there, somewhere in your bloodline or your family, something got planted,” he insisted. “Something God didn’t want there, something God didn’t intend. And the twist began. And every generation commits the sins greater than their father committed it. For the reason you can dance in the street is because your father had to hide in a closet.”

Why?

Something I wrote back in 2013 concerning my delving into the Genesis 6 giants mythos and its impact:

This is a favorite of all Nephilim proponents.  In their minds, Satan is building an army!  We will see hybrids openly manifest in front of us in the coming days ahead, just like, as in the Days of Noah.  What is perverse about the theology is its basis in what is commonly known as the "Serpent Seed Doctrine" or "Demon Seed."  Although not all proponents openly espouse this view, the underlying message is there.

The foundation of this view begins with altering the interpretation of Genesis 6 from man's personal sin to demonic DNA being introduced into the human genome.  Step two, perverting Christ's prophecy in Matthew to fit the Nephilim scenario.  The final step, reinterpreting Genesis 3:14-15 which sets up the battle between the seed of the woman and the seed of Satan.

The rapper who mutilated himself and then jumped from a Los Angeles building has broken his silence about what happened.

Andre Johnson was severely injured in April after he severed his penis and leaped from the second level of a building in North Hollywood. He told E! that he was under the influence of drugs at the time but insisted that he knew what he was doing.

"Yes, I was using drugs that night, but I was in complete control," he said. "I cut it off because that was the root of all my problems. My solution to the problem was the realization that sex is for mortals, and I am a god. ...Those kinds of activities got me into trouble, and I came here to be a god."
