An Irving mother killed her 8-year-old son because demons told her to sacrifice him on a bed inside a recreational vehicle, according to an arrest warrant.

Tisha Sanchez told her sister about the killing Sunday morning and asked her sister to forgive her, the warrant stated.

After hearing Sanchez’s confession, her sister walked to the RV parked in a backyard and found the body of 8-year-old Joevani De La Pena, according to the warrant obtained by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram on Monday.

Irving police arrested Sanchez on Sunday morning, and she faces a charge of capital murder.

Man Named Dread Accused of Killing Friend With Bible, Said the Devil Was Inside His Room

A Florida man claimed he was “awoken by demons” when he allegedly killed his friend early Saturday morning with a Bible, pipe and frying pan. Lesley Satenay, 40, is charged with homicide in the death of 30-year-old Krystal Phillips.

Eatonville Police received a call at 4:22 a.m. on Saturday during which a caller claimed he or she saw a body in Satenay’s room at 16 Deacon Jones Boulevard in Eatonville, Florida.

Officers found Satenay standing outside on the porch covered in blood. Satenay, who goes by the name Dread, told officers “the devil was inside his room,” The Orlando Sentinel reported. He also told police he “hit the devil with a Bible,” court papers revealed.

East Bridgewater women disfigure child in Voodoo ritual, say police

Two East Bridgewater women tied up, burned and disfigured a 5-year-old Randolph girl to rid her of a demon that was making her misbehave, according to East Bridgewater police. The women, who are facing multiple assault charges, also threatened to cut off the head of the girl’s 8-year-old brother in what police described as Haitian Voodoo rituals inside a home at 31 West Union St., in East Bridgewater.

The ritual was done upon the mother’s request, police said.

Peggy LaBossiere, 51, and her sister, Rachel Hilaire, 40, were held without bail Monday after pleading not guilty during their arraignments in Brockton District Court on charges of mayhem (the permanent disfigurement of a child’s face), assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery on a child with injury, indecent assault and battery on a child under the age of 14 and threatening to commit a crime (murder). The women, who were arrested Jan. 26, appeared briefly again Thursday in court for a hearing to determine how dangerous they are. That hearing was continued.

Ronald Keith Wright and Rendy Wright allegedly refused to let their 7-year-old son into their home after he got home from visiting with a neighbor.

The couple told the child that he was to leave his home and never return, according to the arrest affidavit.

A Richland Hills man accused of carving a pentagram was found guilty on Thursday afternoon of aggravated assault.

Brent Bartel’s attorneys attempted to use the insanity defense to keep their client out of jail. During testimony, they claimed he was abused as a child and had mental health experts testify that he suffers from schizophrenia.

But, prosecutors argued Bartel knew right from wrong.

Bartel was convicted on aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after about five hours of jury deliberation on Thursday. The case immediately moved to the punishment phase, where he faces a maximum of life in prison.

He was arrested in 2012 after he told a 911 dispatcher that he used a box cutter to carve a pentagram onto his 6-year-old son’s back.

Police are interrogating three suspects who allegedly burnt a minor in Ponda Mali estate on the outskirts of Nakuru town, claiming they were exorcising demons from her.

The suspects were reportedly in a group of seven, all of whom are members of The Holy Spirit of Israel Church during the last Friday night incident.

County Police Commander Hassan Barua said four other suspects associated with the burning of the 13-year-old girl are still at large.

According to Bishop George Okal, some church members claimed the girl was possessed by demons and they wanted to help her heal.

The members had been invited by Beatrice Akinyi, the girl’s neighbor and a church member, to pray for her. “Beatrice, a member in my church, requested other members to go to the girl’s house for prayers but upon arriving, they said they wanted paraffin and a candle,” Bishop Okal explained.

Flicked with holy water, her face smeared with olive oil and poked violently in the stomach, two-and-a-half-year old Angel bursts into tears as she is rid of the evil spirits that lurk within her.

The child wriggles to free herself but her mother holds on firmly, insistent that she endures the exorcism to protect her from the sorcery that many in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) believe controls their lives.

Angel and Grace, an 11-month-old baby exorcised the same day, have been ‘saved’ by the ceremony, the devil banished, and for now they remain safe in their homes.

But tens of thousands of other children in this troubled central African country have been branded ‘child’ witches and flung out onto the streets by their families into a life of destitution, violence and abuse.

In the capital Kinshasa, at the Gallicane Catholic Church, Father Alexis Katziota Mungala talks almost matter of factly of his work releasing thousands of children from the devil.

Exorcism is a daily ritual he performs in his church.

‘These witches they eat human flesh, they drink human blood,’ Father Alexis told MailOnline.

‘It is the work of the devil. Witchcraft kills the love within the child. It fills them with hate, it makes them eat their father, fight with their brother.

‘Witchcraft is part of our tradition; it is part of Congolese culture.

‘Children can become infected with sorcery but we carry out exorcisms to help children find their families again.’

‘Once accused of witchcraft, children are stigmatized and discriminated against for life. Children accused of witchcraft may be killed, although more often they are abandoned by their parents and live on the streets.’

Deeply suspicious and steeped in mysticism the existence of child-witchcraft is deep-rooted in Congolese culture.

‘Child witchcraft is part of our tradition,’ Etienne Maleke, who has worked with Kinshasa’s street children for over 20 years, told MailOnline.

‘All of the boys here at the shelter have been accused of being witches.’

But the collapse of the economy in the 1990s following mass lootings by the unpaid army and the following chaos of two devastating wars turned this phenomenon into an epidemic.

More than 17 years after the stabbing death of his wife, Bobby McGee is facing trial for first-degree murder in what his defense is calling a failed exorcism.

Helene Ball McGee, 44, was found dead in her Dunedin home with more than 19 stab wounds on March 11, 1998. After deputies searched the area, Bobby Lane McGee was found huddled in a nearby ditch, wearing a ski mask and camouflage pants, and carrying two knife sheathes.

Two knives that later were discovered in the ditch by a dive team matched Bobby McGee's newlywed bride's wounds, and bloody footprints led away from the home to his hiding spot.

McGee was found to be mentally incompetent in 2000 and sent to a state hospital to receive treatment for bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

Fifteen years later, he is taking medication and is been deemed ready to face a jury. If convicted, McGee would face life in prison.

Public Defender John Swisher said in his opening statement Wednesday the defendant didn't intend to kill his wife, but instead was trying to perform an exorcism because he thought she was possessed by the devil.

A BBC investigation into faith-based crime, broadcast yesterday on Radio 5, claimed that a special Metropolitan Police team – Operation Violet – has seen a significant increase in reports of crimes related to witchcraft in London.

But other areas don’t have such specialist expertise and half of police forces in the UK are failing to record cases. Campaigners say children remain at risk in the absence of a coordinated national response to the problem.

The BBC reported here that the Metropolitan Police said there had been 60 crimes linked to faith in London so far this year. It saw reports double from 23 in 2013 to 46 in 2014.

The NSPCC said authorities:

Need to ensure they are able to spot the signs of this particular brand of abuse.

Terry Sharpe, from the Project Violet team, said cases remained small in number, but there had been a significant increase, covering a spectrum of seriousness.

Prosecutor: Mom's Boyfriend Killed "Baby Doe" Because He Believed She Was A Demon - BuzzFeed News

The boyfriend of a Massachusetts mother charged with murdering 2-year-old Bella Bond — also known as “Baby Doe” — believed the toddler was either possessed by demons or was a demon and that “it was her time to die,” a prosecutor said at his arraignment on Monday. 

Michael McCarthy, charged with murdering Bella, was held without bail. The toddler’s mother, Rachelle Bond, was charged as an accessory after the fact and was held on $1 million cash bail.

Bella was found dead in a trash bag on Boston Harbor’s Deer Island on June 25. Unable to identify her for months, authorities called her “Baby Doe” while her composite image was shared by tens of thousands of people online in an attempt to find out who she was.

Friday’s arrest and identification of Bella came 24 hours after Boston homicide detectives received a tip.

During Monday’s arraignment, Assistant District Attorney David Deakin revealed details of how the alleged murder came to light and the shocking alleged treatment of Bella by her mother and her mother’s boyfriend, who he said was in a cult obsessed with demons and ghosts.

Besides the fact that this beautiful child is dead, it appears that this travesty could have been prevented, as the only "demons" present are the scumbags sitting behind bars.

The case highlighted problems at DCF because the agency twice received reports of neglect involving Bella and closed both cases. The agency said it determined neglect was involved in the first one, in 2012, but it still shut the case. There were no details about the second one, which happened the following year.

Child welfare authorities had also terminated the mother’s parental rights over two other children by the time the agency investigated Bella’s case, but DCF policy reportedly would not allow that to have any bearing on the investigation of Bella.

“Systemic policy reforms are necessary to support the efforts of our social workers, supervisors and managers who are on the front lines protecting the Commonwealth’s children,” Baker said in a statement.

Bella’s case is not the first in which DCF policies have come under review.

In 2013, two DCF employees were fired after failing to conduct in-person monthly checks on the family of 5-year-old Jeremiah Oliver, who was missing for five months before police were notified of his disappearance.
Jeremiah’s body was found on the side of a highway the following year.

In July, 7-year-old Jack Loiselle was taken to a hospital in a coma with signs of dehydration, starvation and bleach burns after his father called 911 to say he was unresponsive, CNN affiliate WCVB reported.

A faith “healer” was stabbed to death at a spiritual centre for treating black magic and demonic possession in East London.

Mr Islam was a co-founder of the Ruqya centre, based in a complex of small business offices in Greatorex Street, and had been treating people who believe themselves possessed by ‘jinns’, or spirit, and black magic for more than a decade.

The centre, which was sealed off by police who were carrying out forensic searches, also offers advice on sorcery, witchcraft and “evil eye”.

'Evil-spirited' woman killed in Bangladesh church ucanews.com

Police in Bangladesh's northern Rajshahi district arrested six tribal Santal Catholics on Aug. 26 for allegedly beating a woman to death in the name of "releasing her from an evil spirit" inside a local Catholic Church.

The suspects allegedly took Fulmoni Mardi, 60, into St. John Mary Vianney Church in Mundumala on the night of Aug. 25 and beat her to "free her from the spell of an evil spirit," a police official said.

"The woman is a victim of superstition and maltreatment. We found serious injuries on her body which caused her death," said Anwar Hossain, officer in-charge at Tanore police station, which covers Mundumala.

"We have arrested six people after the victim’s daughter Shefali Hembrom filed a murder case. We will arrest more people for investigation and interrogation if necessary," the officer added.

The woman’s family members and relatives said they took her to the group as local villagers had talked about their miraculous healing power.

The parish priest, Father Michael Corraya, said he was asleep when people came to the church with the woman and beat her to death. The priest denied backing the group but admitted that he "partially" believed in their healing power.

"I have heard from people that they were healing people, because we do use charismatic prayers and Holy Water to heal sick people. But I never thought these people would go to such extremes," said Father Corraya.
The incident shows a challenging reality for the Catholic Church in the tribal-majority Dinajpur and Rajshahi dioceses of northern Bangladesh.

Thousands of tribal people, including Santals, were converted to Christianity after 1904 by European missionaries. However, traditional belief and superstitions are still common among the mostly poor and illiterate tribal people, said Father Harun Hembrom, secretary of the diocesan Justice and Peace Commission in Rajshahi and a tribal Santal himself.

A teenage girl in Honduras had mistakenly been buried alive and apparently woke up in her coffin, only to die before she was freed.

Footage shows frantic relatives smashing into the concrete tomb of recently buried Neysi Perez, 16, after they said they heard her screaming from inside. She had been buried the previous day.

When they opened the coffin, Perez was dead. But according to relatives, she was still warm and had bruises on her fingertips. The glass viewing pane on her coffin had been smashed.

"As I put my hand on her grave, I could hear noises inside," her husband, Rudy Gonzales told Primer Impacto TV news. "I heard banging, then I heard her voice. She was screaming for help."

Perez, 16, had been three months pregnant, and apparently fell unconscious when she heard a burst of gunfire near her home in La Entrada, western Honduras.

When she began foaming at the mouth, her parents – who thought she was possessed by an evil spirit – called a local priest who attempted to perform an exorcism. 

Perez was rushed to hospital when she became lifeless and was soon pronounced dead by doctors three hours later. She was buried wearing her wedding dress.

Now for some skepticism,,,

Though there are some missing details in this strange case, there’s enough information to suggest a plausible scientific and psychological explanation: the faint, muffled “scream” heard seemingly coming from Perez’ above-ground tomb was not a scream at all, but instead some ambient urban sound (perhaps car brakes squealing in the distance, or a siren’s wail) that was interpreted by the girl’s grieving family as a cry for help.

Despite sensational news reports that Perez was “screaming” and “banging” on her coffin, there’s simply no evidence of that beyond the (surely sincere but likely mistaken) claim by her husband. Once he began, quite understandably, panicking that his wife may have been buried alive, the others joined in. Hearing a dead loved one’s voice is common and harmless, especially in the early stages of grief or panic.

Illusory voices and signs of life can be created by well-understood psychological process called apophenia, which cause people to “hear” distinct sounds and voices in random noise. In fact, earlier this year several rescuers at a car accident in a Utah river mistakenly reported hearing a mysterious, non-existent voice calling to them from an overturned vehicle.

A closer look reveals no evidence suggesting that Perez was not (still) dead when her family broke into her coffin; she appeared calm and non-responsive in the videos. By all accounts she never moved, opened her eyes, or spoke, and there were no doctors present. Her family seemed to assume she had -- apparently up until moments before -- been alive and screaming because her body was warm and pliable.

Zachary King is a Catholic wannabe version of Mike Warnke and believes that Satanic rituals are being performed at your "local" abortion clinic (in other words, Planned Parenthood). 

Why does he believe so, according to Hohmann: 

King said he was hired to be there, casting his spells, by the abortionists.

“You have to be part of the procedure,,,They have hired you to perform a satanic spell and, in order for that to happen, your hands have to get bloody.”

“My left hand guided the way, and the right hand had a scalpel. The woman never winced or anything. Both hands were bloody. I participated in 141 abortions. I doubt my actions actually killed any children, but I was still there.”

He said [referring to King] the women whose abortions he attended would get pregnant with the intent of killing their unborn baby as a sacrifice to Satan.

“So the women knew why I was there,,,,King said. “They know there’s a satanic ritual going on.

“In 1987 (at the age of 19), I became a high wizard, and I did my last abortion in 1997,,,,From the time I was 14 to age 19, I did probably five of them.”

So I did a bit of digging,,,

The interview originated with Michal Hichborn of the Lepanto Institute; it was then "reported" on by LifeNews.com, ”an independent news agency devoted to reporting news that affects the pro-life community."  And finally reached Leo Hohmann of WND.  His article is just a repetitious bunch of junk with no fresh perspective or novelty.

Now I'm not going to get into the differences between theistic and atheistic forms of Satanism (not to discount The Satanic Temple) nor any of the other batshittery that always surrounds this topic (ie Hitler, Manson, Mengele and Margaret Sanger always make an appearance from the religious fucktards).  But I want you to think about what he said, and how fucking stupid he is.  It is a point our very own Heretic Woman made before she was banned and her comments deleted.

• Although not mentioned in Hohmann's article, King states in the original interview, "I had been in the World Church of Satan,,,"  I have never seen reference to such and organization nor have I been able to FIND any reference to such
• WTF is a high wizard [see:: CoS's hierarchy explained]
• There are no substantiated claims of human sacrifice by any Satanic groups,,,EVER
• And WTF is a non-medical person doing in an operating theater
• Exactly what type of abortion was he providing - My left hand guided the way, and the right hand had a scalpel
• This last one is self explanatory - I doubt my actions actually killed any children, but I was still there

So dude can't even seem to get his terminology correct.  Let alone provide any evidence that these "Satanic" rituals are occurring besides the fact that abortions do take place.  The author doesn't do much better, relying on innuendo and rumor:  "In December 2010, Life Site News, a pro-life website, published a profile of Abigail Seidman, who from the age of 10 was working in an abortion clinic managed by her mother, a nurse."

[Side::King can't even seem to get his narrative correct either, one minute he is in an operating room; next it is some, "farm house that was surprisingly more sterile than many of the other abortion clinics I had done abortions in."  Also note this comment is referencing his "first [abortion] one I did was about 3 months before turning 15."]

BUT that is not my interest,,, It is the hyperbole and god awful rhetoric being spouted by these insane lunatics that bother me.

(1989).  In 1984, she became the president of the National Coalition on TV Violence (See::Summary - Thomas Radecki), but her crusade against D&D continued; died 1997

• Founder National Coalition on TV Violence, psychiatrist Thomas Radecki [Shit::  This is why Radecki's name is  is so familiar, besides the D&D debacle, "Doctor tied to Clearfield County arrested in drugs-for-sex case"]

 

• Seventies-era “former Satanic High Priest” John Todd, "but no one had to take Todd down: Pleading guilty to rape and child molestation ended his career as a Satan-chaser. Todd alienated many mainstream Christian groups by accusing them of being Illuminati fronts. • Christian comedian and author Mike Warnke (The Satan Seller, 1972), another supposed a high-ranking Satanist in a secret organization turned Bible-thumper (who BTW is trying to make a comeback); Cornerstone Magazine took aim at Mike Warnke, and found that he too was a fraud
• And last but not least, Mary Elizabeth "Tipper" Gore, who in 1985 formed the Parents Media Resource Center (PMRC) - the group responsible for the “Parental Advisory” stickers found on music because of back-masking

• Lauren Stratford aka Laurell Rose Wilson author of "Satan’s Underground: The Extraordinary Story of One Woman’s Escape" (1988). Stratford claimed to have been a “breeder” for Satanic groups, birthing babies to be sacrificed and eaten.  Cornerstone Magazine discovered a woman with a very long, documented history of tall tales and mental illness.  Wilson as "Laura Grabowski" and started claiming that she was a survivor of the infamous Auschwitz concentration camp and that she had been subjected to medical experiments by Joesph Mengele; died 2002
• And, Doris Sanford and Graci Evans co-authors of "Don’t Make Me Go Back, Mommy: A Child’s Book About Satanic Ritual Abuse"

It is this sort of Christianist masturbatory fantasy that is still extant, that its promulgators think that "the rubes" will actually believe it.  As Deb and I found, the religious fucktards soak this shit right up; and I'm not just talking the Christo-fascists either.

This is truly unbelievable, that people would allow themselves to be so over taken by the devil that they would make human sacrifices to satan, but after seeing what PP does, selling babies by the piece, I guess anything is possible, I still have a hard time understanding how people can be so depraved and evil. Their days in eternity will be long and hot, and they deserve it.

When I was an LEO, I researched this crap to find out more about a coven working in my district. What I found was so repulsive I almost threw up. Baby Sacrifices, Group Rape, Eating Feces, Kidnapping Children in other states and forcing them into this sick lifestyle and the list goes on forever. They had a nation wide network from coast to coast and this was in the late 70s. I could only imagine what they have now.

Do you mean evidence as in hearing it on the main stream media? I have heard testimony from many different ex-satanist that state child sacrifice is a common practice among them. I was told i was crazy years ago for stating that baby parts were being harvested and sold on the black market. Guess what? Its main stream news now. Also, thats not the worst of it. Imagine being 19 year old, away from home in a heavily fundamentalist atmosphere. Now add to that a culture where mental illness is perceived as a spiritual issue that can be solved by prayer and Bible study.  (Sound familiar) That it is Satan and his minion demons and those he controls that are the cause of all your woes.  Then add to that a jackass named Bob Larson.  (Yes, the current master of Skpye exorcisms (for the low price of $295) and the brains behind teen exorcists.) I think without much help you can see where this is going to lead because it is still happening today.  I am an "exorcism" survivor

[SIDE::Now there is a lot of small detail in discussing Larson and my experience.  Larson actually performs, in modern parlance, "Deliverances" not the Rite of Exorcism.  No he was not present, but his early teachings along with the hype mention above were influential.  Yes I have "met" Larson and have heard him speak.  I was also and avid fan of his two-hour weekday call-in show "Talk Back" (no, I don't think I ever called in at least I don't remember ever doing so).  Yes I have read many of his books and so on,,,

I say survivor because, it didn't kill me. But the aftermath nearly did.  I say survivor, because, today many individuals subjected to this type crazy talk don't.  That fucks me off!!

 "Christianity" is dying a slow death and the Christianists don't like it.  They don't like the idea of their way of life is, their dominance of the way things ought to be, their beliefs are becoming extinct.

The correspondence includes a July 6 letter from the school administrator to Ms. Richardson reiterating the university’s concerns:

EO13603, signed by the President in 2012, supposedly declares martial law, giving FEMA control over all food, water, energy and national infrastructure.

EO13603 does actually exist. It’s an update of a national emergency preparedness order that was originally issued during the Truman Administration. Obama signed a new one to REMOVE FEMA due to the Department of Homeland Security’s new role. One would think that in the three years since the order was signed there would be some real evidence of martial law, but then again these are the same people who still think after almost seven years that Obama is coming for their guns.

Sheriff In Sandra Bland Case Tells Pastor: 'Go Back To The Church Of Satan'

A pastor keeping vigil outside the Texas jail where Sandra Bland died says the sheriff there has begun to intimidate her a day after a controversial demonstration took place at the jail.

Rev. Hannah Adair Bonner on Monday tweeted a video of Waller County Sheriff Glenn Smith testily asking her, "Why don't you go back to the church of Satan?" as he walked through the jail parking lot and entered his department's building in Hempstead. She said it's characteristic of Smith's new bullying manner.

Bonner, who's white, believes she's being singled out by Smith for showing support for Bland, a 28-year-old black woman who was found hanging in her jail cell under disputed circumstances last month.

None of the news articles showed any skepticism by asking things like whether or not possession is something that actually exists. Rationality is nowhere to be found in the reporting of exorcisms, and until it does, we will lose the battle against “the worser angles of our nature”.

Liberians began three days of fasting and prayers on Wednesday to seek salvation from the "curse" of the Ebola epidemic, which has killed 2,705 people and infected 4,665 more in the West African country.

The National Christian Ebola Task Force, an organization formed in September by different Christian denominations, urged Liberians to fast from dawn-to-dusk over the next three days.

"Ebola is a virus from the devil. It's killing us because we have turned our back to God," Reverend David G. Benitoe, a representative of the task force, told a news conference.

"We have traded the worship of God with the worship of demons and witchcraft, and evil stuff is now happening in this country," Benitoe said.

Former residents of Brentwood 'demon' house dispute book's claims - Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

This is the "original" news story that I passed off at the time:

Inside the inviting turn-of-the-century house on Brownsville Road in Brentwood, former Allegheny County commissioner Bob Cranmer says a two-year battle is being waged between good and evil — God and the devil.

“I think I have a credibility that when I say something happened, folks can believe it. This isn’t some flat Earth, alien abduction story. This happened,” says Cranmer.

It began happening shortly after he, his wife and their four kids bought the house in 1988.

What seemed to be bumps in the night, turned into something more. They began seeing a dark pillar that moved through the house with a repulsive, acrid smell.

Now he’s written this book – “The Demon of Brownsville Road.”

“I feel a responsibility to tell this story in a rational, sound manner to tell people it’s all real,” Cranmer said. “It’s true. Good and evil exists.”

Cranmer and his family say it is no longer a matter of faith. That they have direct knowledge of good and evil, the devil and the power of God.

But alas, it seems that not everyone is on-board with this narrative of events:

But is it true? Members of two families who owned the house prior to the Cranmers, and a third family whose ancestor Mr. Cranmer says fueled the evil in the home, say the events involving their families are not true or accurate.
