is so divorced from reality, Campbell states, parent's voices are
being suppressed for asking what their children are being taught.
The reality, families, have the option to review what’s in the
curriculum. They have the option to opt out, and that’s true for

Chaos
has erupted in an election for Utah County Attorney after incumbent
David Leavitt was forced to deny QAnon-style
claims that he and his wife engaged in cannibalism and ritual sex
abuse of children.
Local
news station KUTV reports that Leavitt held a press conference
this week in which he lashed out at the Utah County Sheriff’s
Office for announcing an investigation into "a child sex abuse
ring that operated in Utah, Juab, and Sanpete counties between 1990
and 2010."
Leavitt
told reporters that he and his wife had both been investigated for
being part of the alleged abuse ring, but had been cleared of any
wrongdoing. He then accused Utah County Sheriff Mike Smith of making
the announcement as a way to hurt him politically ahead of an
upcoming election.
But
then again I have to consider Kandiss Taylor who is “demanding” a
hand recount of all 159 Georgia counties despite receiving less than
4% of the vote.

What
Greene forgets, the US is not a Christian nation. The separation of
state and church is a uniquely American vision. Our founding fathers,
aware of the centuries of persecution, of wars and crusades when the
state aligned with church in Europe, choose to bypass such strife.
Authorities
have arrested a man from Palm Beach County, Florida, on charges of
threatening Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert.
Matthew
Lee Comiskey is accused of tweeting out violent messages directed at
the Western Slope Republican, including messages that read “I got
my 2 amendment tool all ready to destroy Lauren’s face. Hopefully
in front of her kids” and “If I ever saw Lauren I’d be glad to
take her out and go to prison. Would be a job well done.”
Several
of the tweets mentioned the Second Amendment; Boebert is a vocal
supporter of gun rights.
According
to the indictment, the threats came in five tweets posted in August
and September of last year. Comiskey is charged with five counts of
making interstate threats, one for each message. The charges carry a
maximum penalty of five years each.

The
Texas Supreme Court on Friday overturned a lower state court’s
ruling, declaring Governor Greg Abbott’s order to investigate
parents of transgender children for possible child abuse can go back
into effect. A lower court ruled the investigations had to cease
temporarily. Abbott had filed an emergency appeal.
But,
the court also ruled that state officials could not continue
investigating the family whose lawsuit prompted the initial
injunction.
Lambda
Legal, the American Civil Liberties Union, and the ACLU of Texas,
which are representing Jane Doe, said that while the order only
partially upheld the injunction, the court's decision was "a
win" for their clients and for "the rule of law."
“The
Texas Supreme Court made clear that the attorney general and governor
do not have the authority to order DFPS to take any action against
families that support their children by providing them with the
highest standards of medical care," the organizations said.
The
statement added that given the court's order it "would be
unconscionable" for the agency to resume pursuing investigations
into parents of children receiving gender-affirming care while their
lawsuit is still pending.
Taken
together, all Boebert managed to do with her bloviating is
demonstrate she really does not give a shit about the welfare of
babies once they’re real sentient beings. Her positions expressed
are opposed to each other.
If
Boebert actually cared about parental leave she’d, vote for more
federal money for parental leave.

fact, Boebert, along with fellow GQP, has voted against a bill that
would send $28 million to the FDA to increase the supply of baby
formula. Infant Formula Supplemental Appropriations Act would fund
additional FDA still passed by a 231-192 margin almost entirely along
party lines.
So
do not tell me how you hatched a gremlin in your truck in order to
save the world. Don't tell me how pro-life you are when are willing
to vote against baby formula.
I

Congress in 1790, said treason is punishable by death. Treason
prosecutions are rare in U.S. history.
So
even if this yahoo were elected Governor, she would not be able to
levy the charge of treason against a sheriff. We are not at war.
What is more amazing is Taylor is seriously out stumping on executing
sheriffs and saying out loud that if she wins, her governorship will
be an outright theocracy.

$300-$1000. The current bill, which has passed the House, caps
cost-sharing for a month's supply of insulin starting in 2023 at
(whichever amount is lower) $35, or 25% of a plan's negotiated price.
