We have heard a lot of ridiculous claims about how to ‘cure’ being gay, but this might be the silliest yet. A homeopathy site has claimed homosexuality can be cured by using acupuncture or other forms of ‘treatment’.

The site claims: ‘Many homeopaths have reported seeing this happen to their homosexual patients, that after a treatment for a problem like a headache they reported that their former sexual orientation changed from being homosexual to healthy heterosexual.’

Apparently owned by homeopath Pietro Lusso, the blogpost says the majority believe the ‘misinformation’ that homosexuality ‘is not a perversion or an illness.

‘As history teach us, that misinformation is performed intentionally by people with a secret agenda,’ it says.
‘But it should not be too difficult to understand their motivations…. One motivation could be some kind of coward birth control for the earth population. China is doing this already. War is another kind of population control.

‘And what would be easier to control the grow of a population than to implant the idea that homosexuality is natural and even “cool”.’

It adds that homosexuality is apparently a ‘movement that is sponsored, promoted and pushed by coward people who has not the best interests of humanity’.

Pastor Commands Congregation to Eat Live Snake That Allegedly Turns Into Chocolate; Gets Arrested for Animal Cruelty

Photos posted to the Facebook page of End Times Disciples Ministries in Soshanguve, South Africa, led by the controversial young prophet Penuel Mnguni, show several of his congregants being fed what appear to be snakes as others look on with squeamish expressions.

Accompanying the photos was a message quoting Scripture and testifying of the alleged conversion of the snake into chocolate.

"‪#‎Demonstration‬ of God's Power, Romans 14. Those with small faith eats (sic) only vegetables but the ones with a great faith eats (sic) everything. During service Man of God commanded a snake to change into a chocolate and it obeyed. People ate it and enjoyed it. To God Be The Glory!" noted the message.

Mnguni was reportedly an understudy of another controversial South African pastor, Lesego Daniel, who convinced his followers to eat grass and drink petrol last year.

South Africa's Eyewitness News reported that Mnguni was arrested over the weekend after the country's animal rights group, the SPCA, charged him with animal cruelty. He was later released on bail as local courts try to find a date for his next appearance.
 
There were no conditions set for the young pastor's bail and the SPCA's Mishack Matlou said he was troubled by the lack of conditions as Mnguni reportedly fed his congregants rats on Sunday.

Convicted sex offender blames kids for seeking him out

A convicted sex offender charged with sexually assaulting a 10-year-old Gaines Township boy told detectives that children are attracted to him and seek him out.

Jason Michael Spencer appeared in 63rd District Court Tuesday on three counts of criminal sexual conduct for allegedly assaulting the boy while they watched "A Christmas Story'' on TV.

Spencer, 27, admitted to sexually assaulting the 10-year-old, but says the child "actually had approached him and he 'wanted it,' '' Kent County Sheriff's Detective Joel Roon wrote in a probable cause affidavit.

Spencer was sent to prison two years ago for sexually assaulting a 6-year-old boy left in his care. He is also serving time for breaking into a Kentwood home with the help of a 13-year-old boy.

The resolution was introduced by Councilwoman Jovanka Beckles to support a 2001 bill by then-congresself Dennis Kucinich; the bill called for the banning of space-based weapons like some of the components of the never-built Star Wars missile defense system, to “preserve the cooperative, peaceful uses of space for the benefit of all humankind.” But there’s also language prohibiting mostly imaginary “exotic” weapons systems targeting individuals on Earth, including systems:

using radiation, electromagnetic, psychotronic, sonic, laser, or other energies directed at individual persons or targeted populations for the purpose of information war, mood management, or mind control[.]

There’s even a line banning chemtrails. We haven’t researched the history of the 2001 resolution, which never passed, but if Dennis Kucinich was really pushing that, our opinion of him just went straight into the Skeptic Tank

Rabbis from the Belz Hasidic sect in Stamford Hill have said women driving cars contravenes “the traditional rules of modesty in our camp” and the conventions of hasidic institutions, according to a report by the Jewish Chronicle.

The letter, which was signed by Belz educational leaders and endorsed by rabbis, also said women could be banned from their schools if their mothers drove them from August onwards.

It cited increasing numbers of “mothers of pupils who have started to drive” which it said had led to “great resentment among parents of pupils of our institutions”.

Stamford Hill's residents are predominately Hasidic Jewish and only New York is believed to have a larger community of Hasidic Jews outside of Israel.

Dina Brawer, UK Ambassador of the Jewish Orthodox Feminist Alliance, said the instructions within the letter had no scriptural foundation and could prove debilitating for Jewish women.

A woman in Lawton, Oklahoma was arrested on charges of fraud after she showed up at a restaurant, ate dinner and had several drinks, then said Jesus would pay her tab.

Lawton’s KWSO reported that Kristi Rhines ordered several drinks and dinner at Mexican restaurant El Chico, then revealed that she had no way to pay for them. She explained to managers that her husband would be back soon to settle the tab.

It seems pretty clear the city is looking into this guy's business because he managed to draw attention to himself in a negative way. And of course the hypocrisy here is as delicious as a glass of Country Time on a hot day.

But I guarantee you that there are other home-based businesses on that block. In a time and place where nearly every human action is smothered in laws, rules, and regulations, enforcement will necessarily be arbitrary. Limited resources mean that cops and licensing bureaus get to choose who they go after, and those choices will usually be made for reasons that have little to do with efficiency or justice.

When I wrote about the lemonade stand, I gave the local Dunedin authorities "three cheers." I take them back. When a grumpy tipster complained about a commercial activity by a cute kid who wasn't hurting anyone, they looked into the matter and wisely chose inaction. Then the same situation presented itself with a less appealing protagonist, and they did the opposite. Zero cheers.

Guerrero began running his stand (a card table with a folding chair and a sign) at the corner of his street two years ago and has used the money (along with whatever he has earned mowing lawns) to buy himself an iPod, pay his cellphone bill, and take his mom out to dinner. None of the neighbors mind, except 61-year-old Doug Wilkey, who lives a couple of doors down from where Guerrero set up the stand. Wilkey has complained in writing to City Hall at least four times in the last two years about the stand, becoming increasingly shrill as authorities refused to step in and shut down this flagrantly unlicensed business that, he claims, is lowering the property value of his home, what with all the trash allegedly being tossed on his lawn and Guerrero’s skateboarding friends cursing while hanging out on the sidewalk. Children on a public sidewalk in a residential neighborhood! Why we never!

“Malachi was excited to start school all summer long. After we had enrolled him he was excited, everyday it was the question, ‘mom, are we going to school?’” said Malachi’s mother, April Wilson.

Excited about his first day of school, Malachi walked into the doors of F.J. Young Elementary only to be told he couldn’t attend because his hair was too long.

“Our hair is sacred to us, it makes us part of who we are,” said April.

“I trim it, it grows back,” said Malachi.

Malachi has a certificate in blood from the Navajo Nation stating he is at least one half Native American.

“He’s more native on his dad’s side than on mine,” said April.

After leaving the school, Malachi’s mother contacted the Navajo Nation, and by the end of the school day, the school district approved his documentation and Malachi was enrolled. “I also spoke with the American Indian movement; they had also contacted the superintendent. When they contacted the superintendent, they had told them that they were going to accept Malachi into school.”

School district officials say they followed procedure "one hundred percent", pointing to a page in the district handbook that states, “certain recognized religious or spiritual beliefs may qualify for an exception from provisions of the dress code.” The handbook goes on to say that with proper documentation all students are allowed. But even though Malachi is now enrolled, his mom is still bothered by their first day of school encounter.

“It’s kind of heartbreaking because - how do you explain to a five-year-old that he is being turned away because of what he believes in, because of his religion, because of what’s part of him - how do you explain that to him?” said April.

But two months later, the felony charges were dropped. A petition suggested that Republican former state representative Rex Barnett, Grandfather to the high school football star and alleged rapists, “may have influenced Sheriff Darren White and prosecutor Robert Rice. It states that Rex Barnett serves on at least one committee with Sheriff White and has called on Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster to investigate.”

The last couple of years have been the stuff of nightmares for Melinda Coleman. The living hell started in January 2012 when her teenage daughter was raped, allegedly by a star high school football player in Maryville, Mo., who made her consume a large glass of booze at his house.

Since then, Coleman was fired from her job, the charges against the alleged rapist and his accomplice were suddenly dropped, her family was threatened and finally Coleman’s house burned down in an unexplained fire.

The 15-year-old football star, Matthew Barnett, and his friend Jordan Zech, also 15 at the time of the incident, confessed to sexual assault on the then-14-year-old Daisy Coleman, recording the assault on an iPhone then dumping the girl on the front doorstep of her home, wearing only a T-shirt and sweatpants despite the below-freezing temperatures.
