There is just no end to the stupidity

They really do not get the fact that the laws of this country also apply to them,,,

Rick Wiles: 'Somebody's Going To Die' Due To Gay Marriage
The failure of conservative Christians to defy and overturn Supreme Court rulings on abortion rights and the separation of church and state, Wiles explained, “is how we got to June 26, 2015, and they changed marriage because they knew the Christians wouldn’t stand up because we gave them decades of being passive.”

“Now it’s going to cost us dearly, Jim, to stand up,” he said. “It’s going to cost us now. Somebody’s going to jail, somebody’s going to die, somebody’s going to suffer.”

Wiles continued: “I’m not advocating violence, but I’m saying, look at Kim Davis in Kentucky. The ruling elite of this country, there are two things that they will crush: They will crush anybody who tries to stop abortion and anybody who speaks against homosexuality, those are the two things they’ll crush. They came down on her, I mean, U.S. federal Marshals took that woman to jail in the United States of America and where’s the outrage?”
Also give a listen to what David Pakman has to say beginning at the 3:04 mark, ",,,look at the products advertised on this show,,, I often wonder,,, it's almost if they created the entire prepper subject matter of the show merely to be able to sell product off of which they make commissions,,,"  Nailed it!!

Samuel Rodriguez Hails Cindy Jacobs As 'A Legitimate Prophet Of God'
With a record as impressive and verifiable as that, it was no wonder that Rodriguez would hail Jacobs as one of those "voices that God has anointed with such integrity" that she cannot possibly be anything but "a legitimate instrument of God, a legitimate prophet of God."

"There are integral vessels," he said, "there are men and women of God with integrity, whereby they utter a word and it comes from Heaven, so I want this audience and you to help me welcome one of the most anointed voices, prophetic voices in the Kingdom of God, Dr. Cindy Jacobs."
Not sure how I missed this, but leave it to 1MM to take all the fun out of TV,,,

'Kermit Doesn't Wear Pants': One Million Moms Warns Parents New 'Muppets' Isn't 'Family Friendly'
"The mature version of 'The Muppets' will cover a range of topics from sex to drugs," OMM states. In a promotional clip (below) Kermit does reference marijuana legalization, but hardly directly. Besides, shouldn't kids be aware of current events? Perhaps OMM believes parents shouldn't talk with their children?

"Miss Piggy came out as a pro-choice feminist during an MSNBC interview. The puppet characters loved by kids in the 1970s and 1980s and beyond are now weighing in on abortion and promiscuity," OMM insists, again, presumably with a straight face.

The call to action – OMM asks parents "to contact ABC (owned by Disney) and strongly encourage the network to drop all plans to air the program" – is written like a parody.
Which it very well may be.

TIME even notes, "with their petition, which helpfully tells people what time and channel the show will air, the One Million Moms could well be inadvertently bringing publicity to a show ABC has a lot riding on."
Something about Doritos being the gateway to child sexual abuse,,,

4 ways we're exalting child abuse
America has become desensitized to sexual abuse of the children we have a duty to protect. Many Americans are now comfortable with – or indifferent to – the normalization and whitewashing of child corruption. Here are some recent examples I hope stir some minds and hearts.
,,,
Deviant Doritos are just more moral junk food being offered to brainwashed kids and the adults guiding them. We should be exposing this phony-baloney “outreach” to kids, not enabling it. If Satan had literally been recruited as a consultant on this project, it could not get any worse. In his eyes, it only gets better.

Hyperbole at its best

A little bit of everything all to sell shit,,,

Jim Bakker: 'ISIS Has Infiltrated Every Single Church In America'
Urging viewers to purchase survivalist food buckets from his ministry, Bakker said that people must prepare for the worst since, after all, “a person that I understand knows what they are talking about ISIS has already infiltrated every single church in America.”

Bakker was likely referring to Rick Wiles, who appeared on his show last month to warn that “Muslims in the Middle East are bragging that they have infiltrated every Christian church in America.”

In turn, Wiles cited Avi Lipkin, a fellow conspiracy theorist who believes that Muslim “spies” have infiltrated “all” churches in the U.S. Lipkin also thinks that the Free Masons, Illuminati and the Trilateral Commission run the world and President Obama plans to settle 100 million Muslims in America on “lands confiscated by Agenda 21.”
While I sympathize with Sanderson, he is attending a private Catholic high school that makes its own rules.  That aside, it does not diminish the asinine reaction of the school nor the commissioner Clark Plunk.

Christian Town Official Attacks Gay Teen Denied Homecoming Date: WATCH
“It’s a Christian school so i you don’t like the rules don’t go there. As usual you have one person trying to change the rules just for himself. I’m told by the alumni the gay kid is looking for publicity. I hate the term gay. It makes them sound like they are happy and “Gay” And they want to call people that criticize them homophobes to make them sound mean. As a whole, gays are mean, cruel spiteful people with an axe to grind.”
,,,
“I would say let the little homo sue all he wants. The alumni of CBHS will meet him dollar for dollar and lawyer for lawyer. This is a threat to our values, our Christian values. Everyone shudders when the homosexuals say the word sue. They are vicious spiteful people.”
Dude has no clue what persecution is,,,

Michael Farris: Gay Marriage Leading To 'Heresy Trials' Of Christians, A New 'Dark Ages'
“In the intervening 20 years [since the passage of RFRA], because of increased secularization and especially because of the advance of the homosexual rights movement, particularly in the homosexual marriage arena, that coalition of across-the-board, left-right coalition that gave us the Religious Freedom Restoration Act has completely disintegrated,” he said. “The political left today no longer believes not only in religious freedom, but they don’t believe in freedom of speech, they don’t believe in freedom of association. They want to crush people that dissent.”

“And so we’ve really gone frankly to … no better than the era of William and Mary’s Toleration Act,” he said, “where if you didn’t differ too much from the Church of England, you could get away with some stuff but not too much. So that’s really the era that we’re living in.”

“We’re back to that,” he later added. “If ... Christian people differ on same-sex marriage there are what amount to heresy prosecutions. And so we have gone full circle, we’ve gone away from liberty and gone toward toleration, and with toleration comes persecution and heresy trials and we’re back to the dark ages before liberty in the United States. It’s very distressing.”
Eagle Forum Gears Up For Fight Against Gay 'Recruitment' … And Satan
If Congress were to even consider impeaching Bunning, Schlafly said, it would “send shockwaves to the other side” and put judges on notice. She warned that there is little time left before out-of-control judges go after pastors and Christian schools.

“I’m telling you, the homosexual movement is taking over the court system,” he said. “The courts are gone, the courts have been taken over by the homosexuals, so they are going to sue and bankrupt all of our churches and all of our schools.”

Religious liberty is on its last legs, he said, claiming that Tim Tebow is “excluded from the entire NFL simply because he quotes from the Bible.” He added that religious counselors practicing “ex-gay” therapy are also under attack because gays know that they need to “recruit” people while they are young.
You Can Start the Roman Persecution Again – But Our King is not the President
Starting with the persecution, fining and jailing of cake bakers and county clerks who will not perform “homosexual weddings” it will take only a few short steps to bring it to the arrest and murder of the faithful. But just as the Christians in the days of the Roman persecution would not deny either their King or his Divine instructions – modern Christians who have not betrayed their faith or seceded to apostate churches will do the very same. Barack Obama may be our president but neither he, nor anyone else, will be our king. We can live with that and we can die with that.
Want to know what gay tastes like? Try Rainbow Doritos!
PepsiCo, who make Doritos (through subsidiary Frito-Lay), are producing a homosexual version of Doritos called "Rainbow Doritos."  Doritos are a product marketed to children, so they make the perfect gateway snack to introduce children to the joys of homosexuality.

What business does PepsiCo have pushing homosexuality on our kids? This is how far our culture has shifted; it's perceived to be cool to push a specific sexual orientation on children, even by companies that produce products that have nothing to do with sex. What's next – gay toilet paper and tampons?
,,,
I think we need to boycott Pepsi and all related Frito-Lay products to deliver a message to Pepsi that if they are going to push gay propaganda on our kids, we are not going to give their products lip service any longer.

Furthermore, I think we should push other companies to launch pro-heterosexual campaigns. Perhaps we could persuade a hot dog maker and a hot dog bun company to do a joint effort promoting man-woman relationships.

Pat Robertson: I Don't Have Psychic Powers, Just Get Messages From God To Heal People
“This isn’t psychic, they are real and we’ve had thousands and thousands of people who have been healed,” he added.
Evangelical Pastor Claims Giving Him Your Hard-Earned Money Can Cure Brain Tumors
And, not all giving is equal, apparently. Not in the eyes of God. Parsley takes it up another notch. According to him, if you give a specific dollar amount, then you will receive a “seed from God” in accordance to what you gave. If you give $37, for instance, Mr. Parsley says, “that is what it will take to receive God in your heart.” If you give $77, then “God will double” your reward. But, he doesn’t stop there. While those are relatively small amounts, he asks that if you are in really desperate need, $777 will give you an uncommon miracle. And, it’s a number worthy of curing brain tumors.
“The holy spirit is impressing on my heart, to say to you, release this word to you, so you can lay hold onto it by faith….because your need can be represented by a $777 seed (donation). You need an uncommon miracle. You need a miracle like that precious women whose childs brain was full of tumors. There comes a point when reason gives way to desperation and that desperation gives way to faith. That’s where you are right now, a $777 seed. Don’t allow this moment (to give), this God season to slip by.”
Jackson (Mississippi) Mayor Tony Yarber Has a Solution to the City’s Pothole Problem: Prayer
Everyone take a moment to facepalm at Tony Yarber, who thinks prayer can fix potholes.

Now be afraid. Be very afraid. Because Tony Yarber is the Mayor of Jackson, Mississippi.

And he continued to stand by his tweet when questioned about it. Because asking city workers to take care of the potholes would be too hard, I guess.
Jim Bakker Urging Followers to Buy Real Estate in Heaven
“Heaven has all kinds of property, ghettos, shacks, apartments, starter homes and mansions,” Bakker said. “Send in your love offering to ensure you have a palatial mansion in heaven. You want to make sure you are in a good heavenly neighborhood.”
City council member, pastor spar over churches as polling places
The pastor of New Life Assembly of God has withdrawn his church as an option to host a city polling station and accused a city council member of discrimination.

In an Aug. 14 email to the Janesville City Council obtained by The Gazette, the Rev. Michael Jackson said he withdrew the offer after council member Sam Liebert at the Aug. 10 council meeting said he preferred not to use the church because of separation-of-church-and-state concerns.

Jackson accused Liebert of discriminating against his church and pointed out that First Lutheran Church in Janesville already hosts polling for four wards. First Lutheran has done so since at least the 1990s, according to its pastor, the Rev. Jim Melvin.

Jackson wrote in the email that Liebert is “the one member of the council who should have been most sensitive to the issue of discrimination,” apparently referring to the fact that Liebert is black.
H/T Hemant Mehta who has a good look at the issue. ",,,a church isn’t automatically a problem."
You heard the man, we heathens have this radical idea that maybe our government shouldn’t place Ted Cruz’s religion above anyone else’s.

Ted Cruz to Jan Mickelson: 'Atheist Taliban' Attacking Religious Liberty
“There is an assault on faith and an assault on religious liberty that we see across this country and it has never been as bad as it is right now,” he said, claiming that “radical atheists and liberals” are “driving any acknowledgment of God out of the public square.”

“There are these zealots — as you put it, the atheist Taliban — that seek to tear down any acknowledgment of God in the public square, and it’s contrary to our Constitution, it’s contrary to who we are as a people.”

Jim Bakker: God Will Take Vengeance On Earth For Abortion Rights
Last month, End Times preachers Jim Bakker and John Kilpatrick got together to discuss the “direct link between sin and the land, the earth.”

Bakker warned that the legalization of abortion will cause “the worst shaking man has ever known and I believe it is all going to start this year.” He said that the recent appearance of blood moons tipped him off that the great “shaking” is imminent.

“God put up the biggest billboards, they’re bigger than the earth, did you know that?” he said. “The sun and, I don’t know, the moon, a little bit smaller maybe, big billboards, they’re God’s billboards.”
Ted Cruz Renews Pledge To Support Radical Personhood Amendment
Georgia Right to Life, one of the most outspoken proponents of the movement to grant legal “personhood” to fertilized eggs and fetuses, has endorsed Sen. Ted Cruz for president after he signed their candidate pledge promising to “support a personhood amendment to the U.S. Constitution.”

GRTL’s pledge, which the group says Cruz signed, asks candidates to affirm that “a continuum of human life and personhood begins at the moment of fertilization” and promise to protect “the civil rights of the pre-born at an embryonic or fetal level.” In practice, personhood would not only criminalize all abortions, it could also endanger some common forms of birth control and put women who have suffered miscarriages at risk of prosecution.

The Georgia group’s advocacy of sweeping personhood measures to ban abortion is so radical that it caused it to split from the National Right to Life Committee.
Jim Bakker: Buy Horses Before God Sends EMP Attack As Punishment For Gay Marriage
In his interview with fellow End Times preacher Rick Wiles this week, televangelist Jim Bakker announced that his ministry is buying horses just in case a nuclear EMP attack takes down the electric power grid.

“If the grid goes down, you’re going to be thankful to have a horse,” he told viewers, also boasting that his Model T truck “will run if the grid goes down.”

Ooops,,,I said it again

Jim Bakker Preparing To Go To Jail Again, This Time Because Of Jade Helm 15
Jim Bakker, the televangelist who served time in jail for fraud in the 1990s, declared on his program earlier this week that he may very soon wind up in jail again … this time as a victim of the made-up Jade Helm 15 federal takeover of Texas.

Bakker discussed Jade Helm 15 with Rick Wiles during a series of programs in which the two floated a variety of unhinged conspiracy theories. The two pastors agreed that the military exercise is meant to foment civil strife and, according to Wiles, target Texas because the state is trying to subvert the Federal Reserve system through its gold depository.
Glenn Beck's Network Is 'Almost All God Now Because We're Out Of Time'
"We, as people, I believe are seeing a red line put down by God," Beck said, "and He is saying we are a covenant nation; the only one that has ever been this is ancient Israel ... We will be His people if we choose Him as our God. He has made these things so clear that people must stand together and choose him as our God."

"We choose light over darkness, we choose God over Satan every single time," he continued. "I am a secular broadcaster and I am almost all God now because we're out of time."
Seems that Pastor Jeremiah Johnson is causing a bit of a shit-storm in Christendom.  Even the folks over at World Net Daily aren't sure what to make of it.  (Interesting critique BTW)

Prophecy: Donald Trump Shall Become the Trumpet
The Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, "Trump shall become My trumpet to the American people, for he possesses qualities that are even hard to find in My people these days. Trump does not fear man nor will he allow deception and lies to go unnoticed. I am going to use him to expose darkness and perversion in America like never before, but you must understand that he is like a bull in a china closet. Many will want to throw him away because he will disturb their sense of peace and tranquility, but you must listen through the bantering to discover the truth that I will speak through him. I will use the wealth that I have given him to expose and launch investigations searching for the truth. Just as I raised up Cyrus to fulfill My purposes and plans, so have I raised up Trump to fulfill my purposes and plans prior to the 2016 election. You must listen to the trumpet very closely for he will sound the alarm and many will be blessed because of his compassion and mercy. Though many see the outward pride and arrogance, I have given him the tender heart of a father that wants to lend a helping hand to the poor and the needy, to the foreigner and the stranger."
This is not the first time Mike Huckabee has objected to abortions for underage victims of sexual assault.

Mike Huckabee: 10-year-old rape victim should be forced to carry rapist’s baby
“Creating one problem that is horrible — let nobody be misled, a 10-year-old girl being raped is horrible — but does it solve a problem by taking the life of an innocent child?” Huckabee said. “And that’s really the issue.”
,,,
“When an abortion happens, there are two victims,” he insisted. “One is the child, the other is that birth mother, who often will go through extraordinary guilt years later when she begins to think through what happened, with the baby, with her.”
...
“I just come down on the side that every life is precious. I don’t think we discount the intrinsic worth of any human being, and I don’t know where else to go with it.”

Prosperity gospel preacher: People who don’t understand why I need a jet don’t understand God’s word
Atlanta “prosperity gospel” minister and megachurch pastor Creflo Dollar briefly addressed his desire for a multimillion-dollar Gulfstream G650 jet over the weekend, saying people who criticized him didn’t have a godly worldview.

“See, don’t get upset when the world says stuff and talks about stuff, and all that. They’re just looking through the wrong lens, they don’t understand,” Creflo said in a sermon uploaded to his ministry’s website.

“‘What does a preacher need with an airplane?’ They don’t know,” the preacher added. “They’ll never know because they’re not looking through the Word. They will never know, never never know.”

So much stuff,,,

I haven't done a round-up lately and with all the insane story floating about, I guess now is a good of a time as ever to start again.

Rios responded with her own theories about President Obama’s religious affiliation: “We know that he loves the Muslim community and he’s certainly sympathetic and he loves the call to prayer and we’ll say no more, we don’t know — I kind of think he’s an atheist, Dave, to be honest with you, with Muslim sympathies, I always need to clarify that.”
Based on commentary concerning this suit, I will be curious as to how it plays out,,,

Christian University Fired Teacher Over Baby, Lawsuit Claims
The law firm representing Ms. Richardson, HKM Employment Attorneys LLP, posted communications between the woman and the university’s vice president of academic affairs. The correspondence includes a July 6 letter from the school administrator to Ms. Richardson reiterating the university’s concerns:
Your pregnancy outside of marriage and cohabitation with the father is incompatible with NCU’s missions and goals. NCU expects its faculty to be role models for the students. Since your marital status is generally known and your pregnancy will become obvious to all, it will be apparent to faculty and students you have engaged in a lifestyle that docs not reflect faith based conduct consistent with NCU goals or expectations.
If she were a chaplain or taught students religion, the school could have a strong First Amendment defense, says UCLA School of Law professor and legal blogger Eugene Volokh. That’s because religious institutions get wide latitude in choosing employees whose jobs have a sufficiently religious component to them.
This Week In Tinfoil: Obama Signs Executive Order Making All Food Property Of The Gov’t
The title is “Obama Nationalizes All Food In Order to Send Millions of Americans Into FEMA Camps.” The story, from beginning to end, is ridiculous. It all starts with an executive order that “nationalizes” food. EO13603, signed by the President in 2012, supposedly declares martial law, giving FEMA control over all food, water, energy and national infrastructure.

EO13603 does actually exist. It’s an update of a national emergency preparedness order that was originally issued during the Truman Administration. Obama signed a new one to REMOVE FEMA due to the Department of Homeland Security’s new role. One would think that in the three years since the order was signed there would be some real evidence of martial law, but then again these are the same people who still think after almost seven years that Obama is coming for their guns.
Right-wing conspiracy website World Net Daily has touched off a fever of speculation among its readers over a supposed “demon” captured on video during President Barack Obama’s visit to Kenya in late July.

According to Right Wing Watch, WND’s news editor John Kovacs wrote on Tuesday that he’s only posing the question as to whether a gray blur that flashes across the screen from left to right might be an “otherworldly being.”

“He’s the U.S. president who has had flies land on his face numerous times, prompting some to call him ‘Lord of the flies.’” said Kovacs. “And he has been buzzed by bees. And has had rodents running across his presidential podium while addressing reporters. His face has even been compared to the character of Satan the devil in “The Bible” TV miniseries.”

“And now, a mysterious flash during Barack Obama’s visit to his ancestral homeland of Kenya last month has some people wondering once again about the president’s ties to strange phenomena,” he went on.
Something is not quite setting right with this, but,,,

Sheriff In Sandra Bland Case Tells Pastor: 'Go Back To The Church Of Satan'
A pastor keeping vigil outside the Texas jail where Sandra Bland died says the sheriff there has begun to intimidate her a day after a controversial demonstration took place at the jail.

Rev. Hannah Adair Bonner on Monday tweeted a video of Waller County Sheriff Glenn Smith testily asking her, "Why don't you go back to the church of Satan?" as he walked through the jail parking lot and entered his department's building in Hempstead. She said it's characteristic of Smith's new bullying manner.

Bonner, who's white, believes she's being singled out by Smith for showing support for Bland, a 28-year-old black woman who was found hanging in her jail cell under disputed circumstances last month.

On yesterday’s edition of his eponymous show, televangelist and survival-food peddler Jim Bakker advertised his $160 Creamy Potato Soup Buckets along with a $3,500 “7 Years of Food” package.

“You can have parties when the world is coming part,” Bakker told viewers as he showed them his dessert food. “You can still have a birthday party!”

But if you don’t take advantage of this generous offer, Bakker warned, “you’re going to dream Jim Bakker on TV telling you ‘get ready’ and you’re going to say, ‘Oh my God, why didn’t I order something?’”

Yesterday, “Trunews” host Rick Wiles stopped by “The Jim Bakker Show,” where the two End Times preachers repeated their warnings that America is about to experience God’s wrath. Wiles explained that God is sending Muslim immigrants to the U.S. to kill millions of Americans as part of divine judgment for the legalization of abortion.

After he recounted how author John Price told him that “there is a direct correlation between the percentages of abortions in a society and the amount of Islamic immigration in the country,” Wiles explained that “the Muslims are being sent in to these Western nations that abort their babies — they’re being sent in as avengers.”

Mike Huckabee: I'm Not Homophobic, Just Applying Biblical Rules On Gay Rights | Right Wing Watch

Mike Huckabee, doing his best to channel Dr. Jenna Jacobs, said in a recent interview with televangelist Jim Bakker that he doesn’t have any personal animus towards gay people, explaining that he opposes gay rights merely because that is what the Bible commands him to do.

Huckabee, who once called homosexuality “an aberrant, unnatural and sinful lifestyle” and demanded that the government quarantine people with HIV/AIDS, said he is offended that anyone thinks he is homophobic.

“The way that we’ve allowed words like tolerance, bigotry — what has happened to us, we allow ourselves to be called homophobic or bigoted, we’re not,” Huckabee told Bakker in the latest segment of their interview recent interview to be posted online. “We are just people who believe that there is a standard that was not ours, it was God’s, it was given to us and for us to change it we have to get his permission.”

This led Huckabee to rant against the public schools for undermining “core moral values” and teaching that America is an “evil, imperialistic nation,” telling Bakker that “it’s pretty frightening in that there are so many ways in which the education system is not educating but indoctrinating, it’s why we see so many parents who are going to homeschool or pulling their children out of government-operated school.”

Jim Bakker Tells Mike Huckabee That Christians In America Are Like Jews Under Nazi Dictatorship | Right Wing Watch

Huckabee pointed to Phil Robertson’s temporary suspension from “Duck Dynasty” following his notorious comments about homosexuality and Jim Crow as proof that Christians are now victims of intolerance. Bakker is so worried about anti-Christian animus that he even tied the plight of Christians in America to Nazi Germany’s anti-Jewish persecution: “If we all took a stand just like the Robertson family did, they can’t put us all in jail at the same time, unless they did something like they did to the Jews.”

GOP 'Cranking' Enthusiast Tells Michiganders To Flee 'Homosexual Agenda'

Remember this story about Jordan Haskins of Michigan?  The political candidate that found joy in jerking off in cars?  Well it seems he has told residents to flee the state if the legislature approves an LGBT-inclusive nondiscrimination bill.
PrideSource reports that Jordan Haskins took to Facebook to blast an attempt to add protections for sexual orientation and gender identity to Michigan’s Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights, urging his supporters to leave the state in protest.
"If the state wants to trample religious freedom, we go somewhere else where our values are welcome," the candidate wrote on his Facebook page Oct. 8. "Michigan loses tax money, economic performance, jobs, etc. if they choose to be entrenched with the homosexual agenda, it's time for conservative christians (sic) to vote with their feet and their dollars."
In another post, Haskins boasted of his fight against the “homosexual movement.”
Steve Deace: Gay 'Rainbow Jihad' Put Jesus In Jail!
Conservative talk show host Steve Deace is out with a column today titled “The Rainbow Jihad,” about how gay rights advocates are destroying freedom and everything good.

[,,,]
Deace cites the dubious Religious Right “persecution” cases of Phillip Monk, the Houston pastors and New York and Idaho businesses to make the case that America is now embracing the totalitarian ideology of “cultural Marxists.”
 ,,,
The cultural Marxists promised us no one would lose their God-given rights by granting people the made-up right to be godless, but now their answer is “if it does happen you deserve it you bigot.”
Man Who Believes God Speaks to Us Through "Duck Dynasty" Is About to Be Texas' Second-in-Command
As a Texas state senator, Dan Patrick has conducted himself in a manner consistent with the shock jock he once was. Patrick—who is now the Republican nominee for lieutenant governor—has railed against everything from separation of church and state to Mexican coyotes who supposedly speak Urdu. He's even advised his followers that God is speaking to them through Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson.

A former sportscaster who once defended a football player who'd thrown a reporter through a door (Patrick believed it wasn't the journalist's job to do "negative reporting"), Patrick became a conservative talk radio host in the early 1990s—Houston's answer to Rush Limbaugh. In 2006, he parlayed his radio fame into a state Senate seat—and kept the talk show going. In office, he proposed paying women $500 to turn over newborn babies to the state (to reduce abortions), led the charge against creeping liberalism in state textbooks, and pushed wave after wave of new abortion restrictions. For his efforts, Texas Monthly named Patrick one of the worst legislators of 2013.

With a victory on November 4, Patrick, who is leading Democratic state Sen. Leticia Van de Putte in the polls, would find himself next in line for the governor's mansion of the nation's second-largest state. (Rick Perry, the current Republican governor, was previously lieutenant governor.) But even if Patrick advances no further, he'd be in a position to shape public policy—Texas' lieutenant governor is sometimes called the "most powerful office in Texas" because of the influence it has on both the legislative and executive branches.
Jim Bakker: Enjoy Ice Cream Sandwiches While Everyone Else Is Dead

The headline should have read, "Jim Bakker: Enjoy Ice Cream Sandwiches While Everyone Else Is Dead and without electricity"
Much like his fellow doomsday prophet Glenn Beck, televangelist Jim Bakker regularly dedicates segments of his show to selling survivalist food supplies while warning of the country’s imminent peril. Last week, Bakker discussed the Ebola outbreak and other possible calamities, including a collapse of the electrical grid.

Bakker said that while “90-some percent of all Americans will be dead in less than a year” if such a breakdown occurs, you and your family will be secure if you take advantage of his special “time of trouble” offer to purchase packages containing between 91 and 273 desserts, including ice cream sandwiches, chocolates and pudding.
The Single Greatest Civil Rights Threat of Our Time

According to Samuel Rodriguez the supposed threat to religious liberty is "the single greatest civil rights threat of our time."  Although I find Rodriguez's view a bit backward as he and his ilk are more of a threat to my civil rights, than I am to his.  His reality and my reality are two different things.
We live in a time where the very freedom to express our respective faith values stands threatened – a road we have never been down before. From the HHS mandate requiring religious organizations to sacrifice conviction on the altar of political expediency to the failed attempt by Uncle Sam to require businesses, such as Hobby Lobby, to abandon conscience or suffer the consequences of continued litigation, our freedom to worship stands threatened.

This violation of religious liberty is the core and quintessential civil rights issue of the 21st century. Dr. Martin Luther King opined, "The church must be reminded that it is not the master nor the servant of the state, but rather the conscience of the state. It must be the guide and the critic of the state, and never its tool."

The recent outrageous legal demand by city officials in Houston ordering pastors, two of whom are pastors on the NHCLC board, who opposed a recent measure to surrender any sermons addressing homosexuality, gender identity or Houston Mayor Annise Parker, the first openly lesbian mayor of a large city, exemplifies with absolute certainty that freedom of religion in America can best be characterized in the year 2014 as nothing other than an "endangered species." While the Mayor later backed off, saying that the subpoena of the pastor's sermons was too broad, the question remains, if it weren't for the uproar that was caused, would she have pulled back on her own?

For that matter, we must embrace one simple truth; silence is not an option. For with conviction and compassion we understand that a posture of complacency today will result in a position of captivity tomorrow. Thus, for the sake of our children and our children's children, I issue a clarion call to all people of faith to our fellow Americans that this nation birthed out of the seminal principle of religious liberty.
Homosexual Movement Is Deadly To Our Natural Rights

Gina Miller declares that Christians must fight gay marriage with everything that they have,,,
At this point, only the most deceived or grossly uninformed among us do not realize that a devilish enemy regime has taken over our nation.  Under Barack Obama (or whatever his name is) we have seen unprecedented lawlessness from the executive branch of the federal government.  The laundry list of Obama and company’s malfeasance and arguably impeachable offenses continues to grow.

Perhaps the most diabolical advancement of Obama’s tyrannical, anti-American agenda is in the area of the radical homosexual movement.  From militant homosexual activists, we have seen a full-frontal assault on the rights of Christians and others who oppose the campaign to force on America the acceptance of special “rights” for sexual deviants and the destruction of the definition of marriage.  We have seen Obama load his administration with open homosexuals.  He has appointed them to federal courts.  He has overseen the repeal of the prohibition on homosexuals openly serving in our military.  He has used his Justice Department to ignore federal law that correctly defined marriage.

Under Obama, the activists in the radical homosexual movement have become emboldened, drunk on their metastasizing power to crush the rights of the right-thinking people of America.  Examples of legal assaults against Christian business owners are piling up faster than ever before, and the most brazen to date occurred last week against pastors in Houston, Texas.  The story has been everywhere, as is the outrage of the American people, that city attorneys under the in-your-face homosexual Democrat Mayor of Houston, Annise Parker, demanded that local pastors turn over their sermons that relate to the detestable “Bathroom Bill” shoved down the throats of the city’s residents.  In part, it allows men to use women’s restrooms and other private, sex-segregated facilities.  This move by the City of Houston is a gross, illegal affront to the God-given, natural rights of Christians who live there.

Idaho City Threatens Christian Pastors with Jail if They Don’t Perform Same-Sex ‘Weddings’

For a lover of liberty who feels that the laws of our country do not apply, I bet the first words out of Tim Brown's mouth if anyone attempted to take away his guns he would be the Second Amendment.
However, as I pointed out at that time, this is not a federal issue and so anything ruled by the federal judge or the Supreme Court is irrelevant. It is a state issue and on top of that it is a Biblical one in the fact that it is about the defining of marriage. Thus, the governor of Idaho, as well as Scott Walker of Wisconsin and other governors of states that took this issue to the Supreme Court should stand up and say we aren’t following that ruling. It’s unlawful to do so and that court is not the final authority when it comes to this issue.
Notice the tiny disclaimer, "this issue."
I call on all U.S. governors to stand together and tell the Supreme Court to take a hike and tell these cities to stop attempting to enforce “pretended legislation” on the people to advance the homosexual agenda. Where are the people of Idaho? Why are they not protesting this city council and the governor over this issue?

As a final note, if you have a problem with me using terms like “queer,” “homosexual,” and “sodomite,” you might want to check yourself. This is what these people are. They are not “gay.” They are degenerates and they have your children as a target. If you don’t stand up to them Christians and get rid of your spineless, easily offended thin-skinned, you are going to get steamrolled and your children will be the ultimate victims. Call on your elected officials to enforce the state laws, which remain on the books against the sodomites…..for the sake of the gospel and the sake of your children!
Lots more to come,,,

Fallen Televangelist Jim Bakker Now Hawking Apocalyptic Survivalist Gear On The Web

What kind of gift can you get for the budding survivalist in your life? How about a great big Jim Bakker food bucket.

The disgraced televangelist is now hawking survivalist gear and books about the apocalypse on his website almost 20 years after he was released from prison on a conviction of bilking followers out of millions of dollars.

Back from the evangelical wilderness, Bakker now tapes a daily TV show from the rolling Ozarks of Missouri and uses his website to pitch what he calls "love gifts," essentially a variety of odd products including "Tiffany style" jewelery, fuel-less generators and buckets of dried food.

For just $500, you can get "Jim's All American 4 Star Vegetable" buckets. A cool two grand will get you the "Jerry Jones Special," which promises "over 3,300 servings of food and enough fuel to cook 480 meals."
