Conservative Pundit: Gays Sleep With Up To 20,000 Partners In Their 'Short, Miserable Lives'
Lord Christopher Monckton, a columnist for the far-right WorldNetDaily, today came to the defense of an Australian politician, Rosalie Crestani, who is trying to pass a law to prevent her local government from mentioning LGBT issues and holding diversity trainings.

Monckton, who derisively refers to the LGBT community as “QWERTY,” like the keyboard layout, said that Crestani discovered during a consultitation [sic] with “an expert in non-heterosexual lifestyles” that “homosexuals had an average of 500-1,000 partners in their sexually active lifetime, and that some had as many as 20,000.”

“One wonders how they found time for anything else,” Monckton quips, adding that gay people lead “short, miserable lives” as part of their “deathstyle.”
Fox News seems to be doing its best to bury the findings of a new report from the GOP-led House Intelligence Committee, which undercuts many of the wild accusations Fox News hosts made about the 2012 Benghazi attack. In fact, the report is the seventh official investigation into Benghazi, all of which cleared the Obama administration of wrongdoing, and follows a report from the GOP-controlled House Armed Services Committee, which also debunked many right-wing Benghazi myths.

Others on the right, however, seem content with blasting the report as part of an ever-growing plot to guard President Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, a conspiracy which now apparently includes the House Republicans.

Sen. Lindsey Graham dismissed the Intelligence Committee report as “full of crap” and a “complete bunch of garbage,” without bothering to rebut any of the facts laid out in the report, and demanded that Congress expand the eighth investigation by the House Select Committee on Benghazi. Rep. Jason Chaffetz, the incoming head of the House Oversight Committee, also pledged to launch another investigation into Benghazi.
Glenn Beck Calls For Department Of Education To Be Shut Down Based On Facebook Mom's Anecdote
"There is no reform that is going to be good enough," Beck announced. "You have to shut down the Department of Education. It must be turned off ... The only way is to shut down the machine. You have to reboot the entire system and wipe the hard drive. That's the only way",,,
The Perfect Ex-Gay Christmas Gift
“If you were wondering what to get your teen or college student for Christmas, how about giving them the gift of common sense and morality? This is the way many people have described my book, ‘Maybe He’s Not Gay: Another View On Homosexuality,’” she said. “Same-sex relationships are not what anyone was born for yet there are reasons why people get there and even more reasons why they can leave those feelings behind.”
Evangelicals launch effort to recruit 1,000 pastors to run for political office
A prominent evangelical Christian leader has launched an effort to recruit 1,000 pastors willing to run for political office, hoping to inject religious issues and candidates into the 2016 election.

David Lane, the founder of the American Renewal Project, said he hopes he can persuade pastors to run for offices as varied as school board and city council to the state legislature and Congress. He’s scheduled an organizing meeting in January in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

“Government is not going to save America. Wall Street is not going to save America. The Republican party is not going to save America. If America is going to be saved it will be done by Christian men and women restoring a Judeo-Christian culture to the country,” Mr. Lane said in an interview with The Washington Times.

He argued that America was established as a Judeo-Christian nation and that separation of church and state was never meant to keep religion out of politics.

“There’s no truth to that, the Constitution says the state is to keep out of the church, it doesn’t say the church is to keep out of the state,” Mr. Lane said, adding that secularism is another religion that’s being imposed on Americans.

ADDENDUM::Texas GOP Platform Draft Endorses Gay Conversion Therapy

More on the Texas GOP platform for 2014:
As the Houston Chronicle reports, the platform is far from completed. The draft is being amended by a committee of 31 delegates; the process is expected to wrap up late Thursday. Another group of delegates will then have to review that new draft, before the final document goes up for approval on the floor later this week.

Young Conservatives for the Freedom to Marry, a group of pro-marriage equality Republicans, is working to change the national Republican platform in 2016 and get rid of the anti-gay language.

Even before the Texas state GOP convention began, there was controversy surrounding the issue of gay rights.

Last week, Republican gay rights organizations called out the Texas Republican Party for denying them the chance to put up booths at the event.

State GOP chairman Steve Munisteri confirmed to The Huffington Post that the two groups, the Log Cabin Republicans and Metroplex Republicans, were denied space. The issue, he explained, is that their position runs counter to the current party platform. A policy was established at the last convention that groups wanting to set up booths can't advocate for positions that contradict the platform.

Besides LGBT issues, the Texas Republican Party platform draft opposes mandatory vaccinations, supports restricting abortion and backs "eliminating bureaucratic prohibitions on corporal discipline and home schooling in foster homes."
The only thing missing form this report is Benghazi:
“We call upon the United States House of Representatives to appoint a select committee and a special prosecutor in order to subpoena testimony to fully investigate all aspects of the Benghazi debacle, including, but not limited to, the reason Ambassador Stevens was in Benghazi; the denied assistance before and during the attack, the accounts of personnel who participated in the defense of the Embassy Annex, and the apparent attempt by the White House to deceive the American public with a concocted story about a spontaneous reaction to a YouTube video. We call for bringing those responsible to justice.”
