Former Gay Activist Says Homosexuality Is Addictive ‘As A Drug'

I am counting down the days till she comes out of the closet (again).  The money is too good for that to happen at the moment.

Linda Wall used to be gay, an activist for LGBT rights, even. And, as do most converts, she is attacking her former way of life. She says she was “seduced” and was instantly addicted to “teh gay.” Because “teh gay” is “like a drug.”

Appearing on Mission America, hosted by Linda Harvey, Wall spoke about her new group called Virginia Mass Resistance. Anti-gay? Check. Fundamentalist? Check. Promoting lies about teh gay? Oh, yeah.

According to Wall, she was in college when teh gay took her in. It seems that a temptress went to work on this poor rural Virginian and, before she knew it, she was gay! A little wine, a little pot and voila!… a lesbian! She admits that she had been intrigued by lesbianism and decided to explore it. But, horror of horrors, she was addicted to it that very night:

Penn. coroner auctioning firearms from suicides: People pay more for ‘guns that took a life’

This is why some of us call PA,  Pennsyltucky.  I have lived here 16 years, and this is the first time I have ever heard of such a thing, though doesn't mean much,,,

A Pennsylvania coroner said this week that the state’s law required him to auction off guns that were used in suicides and other accidental violent deaths, even though his county has not held a similar auction in 30 years.

Westmoreland County Coroner Ken Bacha told WTAE that his office planned to sell 97 guns during the Nov. 8 auction. He said that families of the deceased are given one year to claim the weapons, and then Pennsylvania law required them to be sold.

And Bacha said that the violent history of the guns could actually inflate their value.

“Most of these firearms that are going to be auctioned were non-homicide firearms,” he explained. “In other words, accidental deaths, but most of them were suicides.”

In the 2014 IPCC Climate Change Synthesis Report— released Sunday— I discovered some staggering information that could be life-changing in our near future. Especially considering the warning the United Nations posted today that “if something isn’t done soon about Global Warming, then it will be Irreversible.”

Mystery Of Human Skulls At Stamford Transfer Station Solved

The two human skulls found Thursday at the Stamford refuse transfer station came from the Fairfield County home of a man who apparently was into the occult and who died recently, according to one of the men who cleaned out the man's house.

Two human skulls and thousands of magazines, books and videos on Satan, witchcraft and the occult were discovered Thursday afternoon at the city's refuse transfer station.

The skulls — tossed out by the cleaning crew who thought they weren't real — prompted a call to police, who swarmed the transfer station to investigate.

I have been brooding over this tragic accident since it occurred, wondering what ever happened to common sense.  Why not just go out and play catch with a hand grenade if you want to be that stupid.  A 9 year old and an Uzi do not mix, it is that simple.  Mr. Vacca paid with his life and a young girl will be traumatized for the rest of her life.  Hell at 20 I could barely handle a 22 rifle in the standing position and I was NRA trained and a "certified camp instructor" working on my 9th Bar.  Even my single shot target pistol (for what is now the 50 meter free pistol competition) caused me pain.  How anyone can justify a child firing a (micro ?) sub-machine gun on full auto is beyond me.  You would think one would remember the 2008 incident involving Christopher Bizilj.

Less than two days after a 9-year-old girl in Arizona accidentally shot and killed a gun range instructor who was showing her how to fire an Uzi, the National Rifle Association on Wednesday touted new ways for children to "have fun" at shooting ranges.

The nation's largest gun lobby posted a tweet Wednesday afternoon to its NRA Women account that read "7 Ways Children Can Have Fun at the Shooting Range." The tweet included a link to an article with the same title published on the website of Women's Outdoor News. A little over an hour after posting it, NRA Women deleted the tweet without explanation.

As HuffPo points out, the article linked to by the NRA - though a bit tasteless in its description of the Mutants and zombie targets - is not the issue as it was published prior to the accident.  The issue posed by Wilkie is,

The timing of the NRA's tweet appears to be linked to this debate. Anstine's column about children's shooting targets was posted on August 20, almost a week before the Arizona shooting. Why the NRA would decide to push out this column to the more than 7,000 followers of its "NRA Women" account is unclear. The NRA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

I am all for children learning about the proper use/cleaning/storage of a firearm as lack of knowledge breeds fear.  I have many friends who hunt and their children participate as well.  My 5 year old great niece has been learning the basics from her mother (hopefully with an air rifle, as I'm too afraid to ask)  But Bullets and Burgers?  Seriously?

The girl's parents huddled around her as she gripped her shoulder that she said was injured by the gun's powerful recoil after she fired the automatic weapon at Bullets and Burgers gun range in Arizona. The girl's parents comforted their injured daughter, not realizing at that point that she had fatally shot her instructor, Charles Vacca.

The girl's mother told police that she saw her daughter drop the gun before turning towards her parents and telling them "the gun was too much for her and it hurt her shoulder."

Right-Wing Christians Take It To a New Low By Handing Out Guns In Churches

I find this "gun giveaway" phenomenon a bit perplexing. I am troubled by it but if the legalities are being followed there is not much that can be done. And I am not necessarily saying I am against it, I just don't quite understand it; maybe I am too old-school being a former NRA/ACA certified riflery instructor. (To throw a bit of irony into the mix, my "teaching" duties where part of my responsibilities as a staff member of a fundamentalist christian summer camp for girls - smirk.) Just something I ponder about,,,

Last month at the Lone Oak First Baptist church in Paducah, Kentucky, a line of people wrapped around the building waiting anxiously to get inside, but not because they sought spiritual guidance from Jesus Christ’s teachings, but to win one of the twenty-five guns being raffled off. One may be inclined to think Lone Oak First Baptist is an aberration among churches purported to be “followers of Christ,” but according to the Kentucky Baptist Convention, handing out human-killing weapons is the best way to get people into church. Last year there were at least 50 “Christian” church gun giveaways in Kentucky alone, and an official at Lone Oak Baptist said handing out free guns is a rallying point to bring people to Christ.

The featured speaker at the Baptist gun giveaway was hired by Kentucky Southern Baptists as a traveling full-time evangelist who defended the Baptists giving away guns and said, “if giving away guns allows them to come into the doors of the church to hear that the church has a message that’s relevant to their lives, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.” The paid evangelist wasted little time getting to the Christian message that is relevant to people’s lives and told other Christians that, “There’s no government on the face of this earth that has the right to take this gun from me” to thunderous applause. The evangelist even said he believed in Christ’s message of turning the other cheek, but only to a certain point; a certain point that cannot be found in any of Christ’s teachings.

A Florida man is facing negligence charges after leaving his loaded AK-47 unattended, resulting in his 6-year-old nephew picking it up and accidentally shooting his grandfather.

According to WSVN, Juan Manuel Martinez Jr., 28, has been charged with culpable negligence of a firearm for not keeping an eye on his loaded AK-47, authorities said.

According to police, Martinez was having a beer with his father, Juan Manuel Martinez Sr., at a family barbeque when talk turned to hunting. Martinez Jr. brought out his AK-47 to share, handing it to his father who then set it on a table.

A nephew of Martinez Jr. picked up the unattended assault rifle and pulled the trigger, shooting his grandfather in the chest and killing him.

“In this particular case, investigators informed us, that there was alcohol involved. Not only alcohol. We also had drugs. We had cocaine,” said Miami-Dade Police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta.

Martinez admitted to WSVN that he had been doing drugs and drinking before the accident, saying, “I was smoking marijuana. I was doing cocaine, and I had two beers.”

Martinez called the shooting an accident, saying no one was to blame.

Pastor John Koletas of Grace Baptist Church is out to show his community's support for hunters and gun enthusiasts who, he said, "have been so viciously attacked by the antichristian socialist media and antichristian socialist politicians the last few years."

Gun ownership and regulation has been a divisive topic in recent years, with the 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School spurring a cry for stricter gun control laws. Koletas criticizes what he sees as an "attack" on gun owners and, as a result, on Second Amendment rights, saying "Our country was built with the King James Bible and the gun."

"I'm just trying to be a blessing and a help to the gun owners and the hunters and give away a free AR-15," Koletas told Times Union. "It's the right thing to do."

A new Kentucky Baptist Convention initiative to lure unchurched men to worship gained national attention after the Louisville Courier-Journal featured an upcoming gun giveaway at a Paducah church located 10 miles from the site of a 1997 school shooting.

This year Lone Oak First Baptist Church adapted its regular wild-game dinner to a “Second Amendment Celebration and Dinner” scheduled Thursday, March 6. The church led by Pastor Dan Summerlin, who recently completed service as Kentucky Baptist Convention president, is one of a number of congregations employing the state convention’s new emphasis on “affinity” evangelism.

“When we talk about affinity evangelism, basically we’re talking about the identification of needs, interests or affinities in a community that you can utilize as a platform for winning people to Christ,” Chuck McAlister, who began Sept. 1, 2012, as leader of the newly formed evangelism and church planting team, said in a training video linked to the KBC website.

“It can include things like hobbies or if there is a predominant employer in a community,” said McAlister, former host of “Adventure Bound Outdoors,” a hunting program that airs on cable TV.

The centerpiece of the affinity evangelism program, however, are the Second Amendment rallies featuring door prizes of shotguns, rifles and handguns donated by local businesses.

Phrases like, “natural gas,” “cleaner than coal,” “energy independence,” and “radical environmentalists” were deployed to create a popular mandate for shale gas development, and to discount fracking critics. Smith even said he feared victim Ricardo Sanes was armed “because his pants were falling down” and his hands were in his hoodie pockets, according to a report obtained by the Orlando Sentinel.

 I have 2 words for this loon,,,DICK CHENEY,,,

Explaining that he began teaching his own kids how to use guns at the age of four, Barton said that people only want to get rid of guns because they are afraid of them, which can be attributed to the fact that they don’t know how to use them.

As such, if everyone had a gun and was taught how to use it from childhood, there would never be any firearm incidents or accidents, just like during the founding era:

That’s what these guys do not see and do not look at; they’re just flat scared of guns. And the solution to that is exactly what the Founding Fathers said and that is you start teaching kids to use guns when they’re very young because gun accidents are caused by non-familiarity with guns; once you’re familiar with them, you don’t have accidents with them.

I have searched and in the founding era I think I’ve only ever found two gun accidents and everybody was hauling guns back then; you took your guns to church, you were required by state law in some states to take your guns to church. We didn’t have accidents because everyone was familiar with how to use them. It’s not being familiar that makes is dangerous.
